GIS Data Victoria, British, Columbia

I need GIS data for Victoria, British Columbia. Specifically, I need transportation(street layers), administrative, hillshade, and other data to build a downtown Victoria map. Does anyone know where I can get this data? I tried numerous sites on the web, but it was either a paid site or too small of a scale to be useful. Any help would be appreciated.

You may want to check the various 'Ministry' BC web sites such as these links for the Ministry of Sustainable Resource Management.

As you mentioned, the data may not be large scale for a city map.

Perhaps write an email to the data wharehouse lead or contact our friends at URISA British Columbia Chapter
